Bob Stiddard
Bob is the founder and major shareholder in each of the group companies. An affiliate of the ICAEW since 2001, Bob trained as an Inspector with the Inland Revenue who he joined as a graduate in 1984. He left HMRC in 1987 to take up a tax manager’s position with a West End Accountancy Practice (now part of Horwarth Clark Whitehill). He oversees the management of each of the Companies and heads up Business Services.
John Roberts
John is director and co-owner of Stiddard Maidstone Ltd. John’s role as a non accountant is in sales, marketing and business development. John enjoys helping businesses at different levels, from managing director level downwards and understands fully which services are required for each client.
John has other business interests specifically in commercial property and ecommerce. His background includes work as a Six Sigma adviser in business process in the insurance and finance sector.
At a personal level John is a proud dad of 4 and hobbies include playing Table Tennis in local Kent leagues (Maidstone, Sittingbourne & Medway) and is a big fan of Cricket and Rugby.
Heidi Pithman
Heidi is the managing partner of the team at the Bexley Office. She is a qualified accountant registered with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Her wide ranging experience gained over seventeen years in practice has allowed her to successfully advise businesses across many sectors as well as not for profit organisations. Her specialist passion within the business is taxation and she is currently a student of the Chartered Institute of Taxation which will lead to her becoming a Chartered Tax Advisor.
Heidi joined Stiddard seven years ago, is a popular member of the team who counts her personal interests as fashion, good food , keeping fit and her two dogs.
Tim Phur
Tim is Accounts Manager at the Maidstone Office. He is a qualified accountant registered with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Having practised as an accountant and business advisor for more than seven years, his main experience involves advising owner managed businesses, not-for-profit organisations and assisting those in charge of governance to meet their legal and ethical responsibilities. In addition to advising commercial and tax planning opportunities, he provides help and assistance on maximising profits and efficiency.
Tim has a particular interest in taxation and is currently a student of the Chartered Institute of Taxation with an aim of becoming a Chartered Tax Advisor.
Alastair Mathers
Alastair is the Director and majority shareholder in Stiddard Mathers Ltd. He is a qualified accountant registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Alastair is a highly experienced accountant and business advisor. His main experience involves advising owner managed businesses, not-for-profit organisations and assisting those in charge of governance to meet their legal and ethical responsibilities. In addition to advising commercial and tax planning opportunities, he provides help and assistance on maximising profits and efficiency.
Mark Loughlin
Mark is a qualified Chartered Financial Planner and heads up Stiddard Financial Services Ltd. He has over 18 years experience in the financial services industry advising both private and corporate clients.
Mark started his career in banking as a Private Client Manager advising high net worth clients primarily on investment and inheritance tax planning. His career then progressed to advising business owners on their personal and business interests primarily looking to protect the business and save tax, before working for a major accountancy practice advising Finance and HR Directors on company benefit schemes. David Bowman
David heads up the commercial finance department in Stiddard Financial Services Ltd. He has over 30 years experience in commercial and merchant banking and asset and corporate finance.
Skills include deal structuring and financial modelling and pricing together with vendor management and equipment procurement. He has a strong contact base within the finance industry encompassing established relationships with funding banks and leasing companies.
Chris Arnold
Chris is the Office Manager in our Bexley Office and joined us in September 2009 after 37 years with one of the big three firms of accountants where she worked as both an HR and Facilities Manager. Chris looks after all of the administrative tasks within the Bexley office including Companies House filing, the setting up and management of Direct Debits, new office procedures and other day to day office tasks.
